We hope to connect our ACP community of residency physicians and medical students through our podcasting initiative. We believe Podcasting by residents/students for residents/students is an innovative way to connect our community with each other. We aim to podcast about all aspects of internal medicine important to residents/students including knowledge, advocacy, and wellness. We believe this innovative learning tool will connect our programs together long into the future. By providing medical residents/students with additional exposure to advocacy, governmental liaison resources, and exposure to ACP’s efforts to advocate on behalf of trainees, we believe this innovation will positively impact the growth and development of the chapter as a whole.

July 1st - Transitioning to Attending physician
Becoming an attending physician is a momentous milestone that brings a plethora of new responsibilities, along with a profound sense of accomplishment. The transition signifies the culmination of years of intense training, sacrifice, and dedication. As residents, doctors are immersed in a structured environment, guided by senior physicians. However, as they step into the role of an attending, they suddenly find themselves at the forefront of patient care, making critical decisions independently.
Today's episode is hosted by Raad Al Muhaisen, where we explore the transformative journey from medical resident to attending. In this episode, we dive deep into the challenges and experiences faced by doctors during this transition. Joining us are two esteemed guests, Dr. Hiraldo and Dr. Mehr, who share their personal insights and stories about this pivotal phase in their careers.
